How does the Gmail invoice scanner work? Connect Gmail via OAuth. Foozool watches for invoice PDF attachments and imports them into your dashboard for review.

Do I need Gmail forwarding rules? No. Foozool scans connected inboxes directly—no filters, labels, or forwarding rules to maintain.

Is my email content used to train AI models? No. Foozool sends portions of invoice content to AI providers only to extract fields like vendor, date, and amounts, as described in our Privacy Policy. We use API services whose terms exclude training on your data.

Why does Google or Microsoft show Foozool as unverified? Early apps often show an “unverified” warning during OAuth while publisher verification is in progress. That is normal and does not mean Foozool can change your mail without permission. We request access to find invoice attachments; you can disconnect anytime from the Connections page.

Can I connect more than one Gmail account? Yes. Multi-mailbox support helps separate personal and business invoices or manage multiple clients.

What happens after Gmail imports a PDF? Foozool extracts vendor, date, and amount fields. You approve, then optionally sync to QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or FreshBooks.
